There are a number of counterfeit filters appearing in the market that claim to be equal to OE specification. Delphi have tested some of these filters and have found filtration efficiency to be ten times worse than the genuine product. Innovations which have been developed and validated by a Vehicle Manufacturer do not exist or do not work.

The difference in performance between a good quality filter and a poor one can be dramatic. Unfortunately, the only visible sign of quality can be the brand on the box.

With a component as important as diesel fuel filter, it is vital that only top quality products are fitted.
