Who should attend?
Delphi Class 2 Distributors Only
The course is designed specifically for the Fuel Injection Technician who will be responsible for repairing diesel fuel injection pumps. The individual should already have attended the Delphi DPA together with the Delphi DPS and/or DPC fuel pump courses and have access to Delphi Electronic Test Kit (ETK).
Course Content:
The course is divided into six main subjects:
- Fault Finding
- Dismantling
- Construction and Operation
- Repair
- Reassemble
- Setting, Testing and use of ETK
Each subject is covered individually and demonstrations are interactive with tests and practical exercises, this enables the instructor to monitor the trainee’s progress.
The course covers EPIC 80 (DI) Ford Transit/LDV & EPIC 70 (IDI) Mercedes-Benz & PSA applications pumps with full electronic control. Explanations of closed-loop control for fuel delivery, timing and exhaust gas recirculation systems are included.
