The course is designed specifically for the Fuel injection Technician who will be responsible for repairing diesel fuel injection pumps. He should already have attended the Delphi DPA & DPS courses.
Course Content:
The course is divided into six main subjects:
- Fault Finding
- Dismantling
- Construction and Operation
Repair
- Reassemble
- Setting and Testing using AVM2-PC test bench and dynamic timing kit.
Each subject is covered individually and demonstrations are interactive with tests and practical exercises, this enables the instructor to monitor the trainee’s progress.
The course covers DP200 and DP210 pumps with or without boost control, low load advance, torque trimmer, PECSA & SECSA cold advance systems, viscosity compensating TP regulators, electronic governors (EG) and lock-shaft timing procedures. The trainee should have access to Delphi dynamic timing kit.
