Course Objective:
The student will be able to diagnose faults and carry out complete overhaul and test procedures to Delphi Distributor Standards, as well as be able to carry out procedures using special tools, test equipment and technical data.

Delphi Distributors Only - by invitation

The course is designed specifically for the Fuel Injection Technician who will be responsible for repairing diesel fuel injection pumps. The individual should already have attended the Delphi EPIC diagnostics and/or pump repair course. Some knowledge of auto-electrical systems and use of computers would be an advantage.

Course Content:
The course is divided into six main subjects:

• Fault Finding
• Dismantling
• Construction and Operation
• Repair using clean room facilities and special tools
• Reassemble
• Setting and Testing using Hartridge AVM2-PC test bench and ETK.

Each subject is covered individually and demonstrations are interactive with tests and practical exercises, this enables the instructor to monitor the trainee’s progress.

The trainee must have access to AVM2-PC test bench and Delphi Electronic Test Kit (ETK).
