Delphi Diesel has long been at the forefront of filter element design. Delphi's HDF296 has long been recognised as the benchmark for diesel filter elements. Countless construction vehicles and agricultural tractors rely on this product to protect them from the effects of poor fuel and harsh operating conditions.
From the same family, Delphi offers HDF796 & HDF996. HDF796 has a longer filter element and is ideally suited to applications where longer service periods or higher fuel flows are required. HDF996 is specific to Ford Transit applications and has a ‘clip on’ design.
WHY IS EFFECTIVE FILTRATION SO IMPORTANT?
Good quality fuel filtration should always be made a priority. The fuel filter is fitted for one reason only: to protect the fuel injection system. It is well known that this equipment has become highly sophisticated and can be expensive to service or replace. However, there are still a vast number of people who are determined to save a few pence by fitting low quality fuel filters, resulting in poor quality filtration.

Poor filtration policy is not just a matter of using inferior quality filters but also not changing filter element(s) at intervals recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
