Systems are most at risk from pollutants during maintenance work and this is why Delphi has always recommended the use of protection caps to help protect the system from contamination.

Delphi’s new range of protective caps is also designed to help reduce workshop costs and ensure professional repairs are carried out. Each individually-packed cap is supplied in batches of 40 to ensure that workshops have enough to work on a number of Common Rail systems. Delphi has also designed a practical and easy-to-use dispenser for the caps so they can be stored safely and accessed easily in a workshop environment. Delphi’s protection cap range of 12 part numbers covers all Common Rail systems including Delphi and other OE suppliers. The dispenser is available as part number YDT480.
