October 2007 - Another new product announced by Delphi at Equip Auto, is the YDT465 THP kit, designed to ensure its specialist diesel network has the necessary equipment to provide full service and support as Common Rail OE pump technology evolves.

When used in conjunction with DIAMAND, the YDT465 THP kit enables full on-vehicle testing of the latest DFP3 Common Rail pump types from Delphi. Existing test equipment can only perform limited diagnostics on this new pump type, meaning not all faults can be identified under cranking.

The new equipment enables a test to be performed at a high fuel delivery rate, using principles similar to Delphi’s popular Sealed Rail kit.
