Graham Borley appointment
July 2008 - Following last year’s launch of Diesel Point, the first module for Delphi’s Service Centre concept, Delphi has appointed Graham Borley as global training manager for its diesel aftermarket business.
With sophisticated Common Rail diesel systems becoming increasingly popular, the appointment will help ensure that Delphi continues to deliver consistent, leading training and development programmes for the growing number of vehicle technicians working with its systems.
“Emissions legislation and consumer demand for refinement mean that diesel technology is advancing at a rapid rate,” explains Borley. “It is essential that we provide our global networks with high-quality programmes, enabling them to work safely and efficiently on these systems and capitalize on the business opportunity associated with diesel. We already have areas of expertise where our customers tell us that we deliver the very best programmes available, and I am excited to continue strengthening this position.”
Borley has a wealth of training and automotive experience. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and previously held training manager positions at Nissan, Panasonic and Bosch.
