JAN 09 - Diesel Calibration Fluid Price Reduction
Delphi's diesel calibration fluid is a reference fluid for diesel injection test equipment.
It has been formulated to the industry standard ISO4113 but more impressively it also meets the stringent specification limits used in the test and development of Original Equipment parts. Therefore this is the only calibration fluid on the market produced by an OE diesel injection parts supplier to OE test specifications
Whilst the Diesel Calibration Fluid is highly recommended for the testing of Delphi OE product on approved test equipment, it is also suitable for the testing of all makes diesel injection products on all makes test equipment. From the testing of Common Rail pumps and injectors to the analysis of nozzle opening pressures and spray patterns, Diesel Calibration Fluid provides excellent performance.
It is essential to use a high-quality calibration fluid in order to ensure accurate and consistent test results. By using Delphi’s Diesel Calibration Fluid, a workshop ensures that its readings are both precise and trustworthy.
1. Price Reduction
Delphi constantly reviews its supplier base to ensure that we have the cost structure to price our products competitively in the market place. The cost of the raw materials used in the blending of the Calibration Fluid has reduced during recent months and we are happy to pass this onto customers with a lowering of our price. This price reduction will apply to both the 20 litre drums and the 205 litre barrels and equates to a 15% saving for customers. The new prices (shown overleaf) will be effective from February 1st 2009:

2. Common Rail and EUI
Due to the tight tolerances and sensitivity involved in testing Common Rail pumps, Common Rail injectors and EUI, Delphi will specify the use of its Diesel Calibration Fluid for testing these technologies. Only by using the Delphi fluid with its OE specification can accurate and consistent results on these technologies be assured.
