REMAN OPTION AVAILABLE FOR POPULAR INJECTORS
1. Introduction
The first generation (A-series) of Delphi Electronic Unit Injectors was introduced in the early 1990’s and was capable of meeting the Euro II emissions standards. Delphi continued to develop its technology and in 2001 a new design of injector was launched; the E1 EUI.
The E1 incorporates the spill valve and actuator into the main body of the injector thus reducing its size and weight. With increased hydraulic efficiency and injection pressures, the E1 injector gave improved performance and met the Euro III standard.
Delphi’s E1 injectors are fitted to a wide range of truck, agricultural and marine applications across several vehicle manufacturers including Volvo. In fact, more than 1.75 million E1 injectors have been fitted to Volvo Truck and Volvo Penta applications alone.
Delphi Diesel Aftermarket is now pleased to announce the launch of a remanufactured range of injectors covering the most popular Volvo E1 applications. The injectors will be part of the exchange programme – sold with a surcharge that is refundable upon the return of the appropriate core. Delphi remanufactured injectors are priced at a level to provide a reliable lower-cost alternative to the new product.
